Ironfish-recommended apartments win top award for quality and design
In a highly competitive category, two Ironfish-recommended properties have won top industry awards.
At the recent Urban Development Institute (UDIA) Queensland awards for 2019, Aria Property Group took out 3 awards, including ‘Best Development’ – twice.
Aria’s Valencia Residences (Kangaroo Point, Brisbane) won Best High Density Development – above 10 levels along with the Architectural Design Excellence award, whilst their Akira building (Woolloongabba, Brisbane) won Best High Density Development – below 10 storeys.
The latest win mean Aria has now won the Queensland awards for five years running in addition to the top national UDIA award for the past three years.
“We congratulate our many investors in both Valencia and Akira. We are proud to work with some of Australia’s best developers, like Aria, to provide off-market, pre-public investment opportunities to our customers. The reality is, in quality developments like these, properties are snapped up quickly – they’re not the type of properties you’ll get to see online on sites like Domain or Realestate.com.au. For these types of properties, you just need to be ‘in the know’,” said Ironfish Director, Property & Research, Grant Ryan.
What is the UDIA?
The UDIA QLD are Queensland’s leading development industry body, representing more that 500 companies and agencies across both the public and private sector. Their members range from councils and state government departments to academics, lawyers, engineers and developers. They are advocates for better planning, affordable housing and effective infrastructure delivery.
